An earlier puppet test. He's half-way done here, but I like how it makes him kind of creepy :3 His head was wayyy too heavy though. I had to hold him up with an aerial brace the whole time. During animation the threads would sometimes snap and he'd fall on his face... Note to future self: do not make a head entirely out of clay.
I'm not particularly happy with any of these, but I did have fun making them. This dude's legs were a little restrained by the felt... I'll attempt a remake of the puppet one day.
Our homework for politics of portraiture is mostly making collages. I've never made collages before so this was really fun. These are collages of various archetypes.
A little dated, but I realized I never posted these. When I have time, I hope to get back into doing figure drawing regularly. I kind of really miss it...
My favorite print from intro to printmaking last semester... totally forgot about this and what a fun experience it was to play with different coloring techniques! Hopefully when I have time, I'll make more prints of other things... maybe...
On the subject of cat ladies: a random sketch I found after scanning the print.
